Shed For All Abilities

The Shed for All Abilities (SFAA) program provides supported activities for individuals. SFAA sessions are run throughout the week, with Woodwork on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Ceramics on Thursday mornings. These sessions are held at the Community Shed, 57a Kookaburra Avenue Werribee.

Hayden Cronin, our Community Shed Inclusion Coordinator, assists participants of all skill levels with their different projects. With Hayden’s support, participants are empowered to gain hands-on skills and build confidence and independence. The program also provides opportunities for participants to build friendships and feel more connected to their community.

Matt Bailey, a GenU Support Worker who facilitates a partner program at the Community Shed, echoes that sentiment.

“Programs like this give people a place to hang out. They get to do stuff with their hands and have fun with their friends.”
