Wyndham Park Community Centre is a place for community – come down to meet with others, learn new skills and connect to what’s happening in your local area. The centre is a welcoming and safe space for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. It is a hub for people looking to build social relationships, find employment and improve wellbeing.
Wyndham Park Community Shed is a vibrant and welcoming place to share and learn skills while connecting with others. It is a place for people to gather and build social connection as they develop practical skills alongside each other. At the heart of the shed are its members – people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds who support one another and foster an inclusive environment.
Overseen by a volunteer community board, Wyndham Park Community Centre Inc. runs Wyndham Park Community Shed, Wyndham Park Community Centre, and Diggers Road Soldiers Memorial Hall – it is run by the community for the community!
Programs we offer
Shed
Our Community Shed has it all and is open to everyone, come in for a social cuppa or start working with your hands. Activities include woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, bikes, electronics, 3D printing, gardening and more. This is an inclusive space where we value mateship and having a go. With a Men's Shed and Women's Shed, the perfect place to make friends and learn new skills.
Room Hire
Our centre boasts a variety of spacious and flexible facilities to accommodate your needs. Are you looking for a space for your community group or maybe a large room for your weekly or monthly meetings? Come to us first! Reduced rates for not-for-profits and organisations working for the community.
Community Store
Wyndham Park Community Store is a food relief program providing basic goods for locals of Werribee and Hoppers Crossing. Our store is open every Thursday morning and is supported by Wyndham City Council, state government, businesses, local community groups and volunteers.
