Community Grocer comes to Werribee
In collaboration with The Community Grocer, Wyndham Park Community Centre has begun delivering fruit and vegetable markets every Tuesday from 8:30am to 12:30pm. These weekly markets, held in the foyer of the Community Centre, offer fresh seasonal produce at fair, affordable prices.
As living costs continue to rise, it becomes harder for families to eat healthily, contributing to poorer long-term health outcomes. The Community Grocer Werribee initiative will help local families experiencing financial barriers to access fresh food, improving fruit and vegetable consumption in Melbourne’s West. The community setting will also provide a time and place for people to connect and support one another.
